येषामर्थे काङ्क्षितं नो राज्यं भोगाः सुखानि च। त इमेऽवस्थिता युद्धे प्राणांस्त्यक्त्वा धनानि च।।1.33।।
yeṣhām arthe kāṅkṣhitaṁ no rājyaṁ bhogāḥ sukhāni cha ta ime ’vasthitā yuddhe prāṇāṁs tyaktvā dhanāni cha

हमें जिनके लिये राज्य, भोग और सुखादिं अभीष्ट हैं, वे ही ये सब धन और जीवन की आशा को त्याग कर युद्ध में खड़े हैं ।
English Translation & Meaning
Those whom we seek these pleasures from (the enjoyment of kingdom), are standing before us staking their lives and property, possessions which I have no desire for.
